Dr Lucy Furlong

I provide a safe, confidential space for therapy online or at my clinic in Petersfield, available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. With over 18 years of clinical experience in the NHS and private practice, I use an evidence-based approach, integrating cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. I work collaboratively to help you understand and manage your challenges, enabling you to discover new choices and break free from unhelpful patterns.

I will work collaboratively with you to help explore how and why you struggle and enable you to understand and manage these challenges more effectively. As you learn to step back from difficulties and the distress caused you will be better able to discover new choices that can help change your life.

I am warm and friendly and have been told by my clients that I am very easy to talk to and that they can tell me anything without worrying I will judge them.
